The Chincoteague fishing season was starting a little slow but quickly picked up in Mid April. This moring near Assateague Island National Seashore 10 fish caught with two keepers at 19.5 and 22.5 inches.

Flounder Fishing is Going Strong!

Today a fishing charter of two people hooked up with 8 flounder. Two found new homes in the cooler but the rest were close enough to legal size to make you cry putting them back in the water. Pretty good for just a two hour fishing trip around Chincoteague and Assateague.
